The first Baja 1000 run entirely in Baja California Sur has 269 entries, and only 8 of them are in the premier Trophy Truck class.

Count the UTVs instead. Pro UTV FI has 21, Pro UTV Open has 17 and Pro UTV Stock has 8. That is 46 UTVs in three classes, against 33 trucks across Trophy Truck, Trophy Truck 2WD and Trophy Truck Legend combined.

One name is missing from the top class. The No. 5 Gordon truck, sixth in Trophy Truck points, is not on the entry list.

Late registration opens in Cabo on Monday, Nov. 9, and the SCORE International green flag drops Friday, Nov. 13.
