Three races into the 2026 SCORE World Desert Championship, nobody has beaten Kaden Wells.

The 27-year-old from Apple Valley, Utah, has driven his No. 2935 Can-Am Maverick R to victory at the San Felipe 250 in March, the Baja 500 in June and the Baja 400 in September. That perfect run has him leading the Pro UTV FI class and the overall standings across every class with 362 points.

He is no stranger to the top of the table. In 2025, Wells won his first SCORE Overall Points Championship, along with his third straight UTV Overall Points Championship after titles in 2023 and 2024.

The overall chase is still tight. Brent Fox, 58, of Highland, Utah, sits three points back at 359 and leads Trophy Truck Spec in the No. 282 Chevy. Justin Davis, 33, of Colton, Calif., is third at 356, and Michael Marsal, 38, of Millbrook, N.Y., is fourth at 352.

One race remains. The 59th Baja 1000 runs 965 miles through Baja California Sur, from Los Barriles and La Paz to Loreto, Todos Santos and back to San José del Cabo. A win there would give Wells a season sweep in Pro UTV FI and his third Baja 1000 victory.

Cabo to Cabo, Nov. 13.
