146 already in — Baja 400 week hits Ensenada
SCORE's September 6 count: 146 entries, 32 of them Trophy Trucks, from 23 states and 12 countries — and the number can still move before race day.

As of its September 6 release, SCORE had 146 vehicles entered for the 7th SCORE Baja 400. Treat that as a snapshot rather than a final figure — on-site and late registration run Wednesday through Friday in Ensenada, so the number that actually leaves Boulevard Costero on Saturday may change before race day.
The shape of the field is the interesting part. Thirty-two entries are spread across the three Trophy Truck classes: 12 in unlimited SCORE Trophy Truck, 14 in Trophy Truck 2WD and 6 in Trophy Truck Legend. Trophy Truck Spec has 25 entries on its own, more than any of the three Trophy Truck classes listed above.
Geographically it is the usual Baja mix and then some: racers from 23 U.S. states, Puerto Rico and 12 countries. For a 400-mile regional round in the middle of a four-race championship, that is a serious turnout, and it says something about how much of the sport now plans its year around Ensenada in September.
This is round three of four in the 2026 SCORE World Desert Championship, over a 423.16-mile course through northern Baja, with the start and finish on Boulevard Costero next to the Riviera de Ensenada Cultural Center. Motos and quads go at 5:00 a.m. PT Saturday, cars, trucks and UTVs at 10:00, and everyone is racing a 16-hour limit.
Between now and then: Method Race Wheels Qualifying on Thursday sets the order for the fast classes, and Friday puts the entire field on the boulevard for tech and contingency, which remains the best free show of the week.
